Winnipeg's First Snowfall
There indeed was a snowfall on Thanksgiving Weekend. The juxtaposition of green and snow was too hard to pass up!

Wasagaming
A holla from the friendly town of Wasagaming, where the people are smiling and the coffee is damn expensive.

Hochburg in Sexau
For my friend Jordan's birthday, we went to a castle ruin in Sexau called Hochburg, which was destroyed by the French because they were French. The view was pretty neat.
Emmendingen: African Musical Festival
Walking by a few posters in Freiburg I saw that there was an African Music Festival held in a small town called Emmendingen. I went with my friend Jordan, and it was great to have some sort of non-European cultural experience, especially since it was Folklorama time in Winnipeg. Yay West African Dancers!
TechnoKonzert at the Stadttheatre
For my friend Julianne's 20th birthday, we were walking home and we saw there was a large techno concert happening at our local theatre. This is what happened on the inside.
Germans Know Nothing About Burgers
Adriana at the train stop in Orschweier bewildered by the Six-Pack Burgers.

Europa Park - Pan
This is just a longer pan of the amusement park named Europa Park.
I did not name it.
Europa Park - EuroMir
At one of Germany's biggest amusement parks, I went to the Russian part of Europa Park and rode the EuroMir. I was supposed to tape the entire ride but after the first few dips, I got scared and stopped taping. Or rather, I didn't want to post a video of me completely screaming the entire way.

Blackforest with Karen
Attacking the Blackforest with Karen. And by attacking, I mean walking daintily.
Nachtschicht in Freiburg
This is one of the many bars Freiburg has, and this was my first time at the Nachtschicht. I'm glad I went on Schlager night!
Frick: A Place Where Dreams Are Made Of
Karen's visit yielded us going to a Swiss city called Frick because, well, it's called Frick.
London: Camden Market
Who would have thought going to a Market would be so fashion forward! Well - Camden Market is the place to go for shopping and all that is British fashion.

Good Morning Dortmund
Just a little Good Morning message on a Saturday Morning from Dortmund waiting for my train back to Freiburg.
Driving Through Sofia
Driving in Zoya's car; just a small video outside into the city aka The Real Sofia.
Driving Through Serbia
Driving Through Serbia on a bus. This would have been hour 11 of the 13 hour bus ride from Ljubljana to Sofia.
Trieste: The Shore
From the shores of Koper, Slovenia we headed over to the Shore of Trieste, Italy. Things like that happen in Europe.
Walking in Koper
Walking quickly to the coast in Koper, Slovenia, I wanted to take a little video of how much it resembled my interpretation of southern Italy ha-ha.
Ljubljana: At Night
Ljubljana's a hip-hop-happenin' place on a Friday Night. It reminds me of The Forks in Winnipeg.
Zagreb is Hot
Since I came from Germany, I brought my winter jacket as it was cold there. The longer we were on the trip, the warmer it got, and the more I regretted bringing it with me. Zagreb was one of those places where I felt it.

Still In Denmark, Allerdings
Are we still in Denmark? Yes, yes we are. I just thought this video was funny.

Danish Countryside
On the ICE train waiting for something to happen outside the window.
Turns out not very much.
Malmö - Turning Torso
The Turning Torso in Malmö, Sweden. This building is actually an apartment. We were not allowed to go inside as its a residential area.
Crossing Along the Øresundsbron
The bridge from Copenhagen, Denmark to Malmö, Sweden. A 35 minute train ride. Costs of DKK 65. Well worth it.
Copenhagen - Carlsberg Brewery Danish Lesson
This is a slightly inebriated Warren talking to the camera while Lori's in the bathroom. I try to pronounce the word "Hvede" in Danish.
Copenhagen - Bottles At The Carlsberg Brewery
One of my better videos from Copenhagen: The Carlsberg Brewery.
Copenhagen - Missing The Danish Queen Parade
The Danish Royal Guard performs a parade every day for the Queen. They walk through the streets and play delicious music. This video is of me missing the parade.
Copenhagen - World's Longest Pedestrian Passage
Warren walks along the World's Longest Pedestrian Passage
Copenhagen - Crossing The Baltic Sea On A Ferry
That's right - I got to cross the Baltic Sea on a ferry at around 9pm. I was too excited but I had to take a video anyway. One that was not informative at all.
**I'm pretty sure I'm saying "North Sea" in this video, but on later inspection on Google Maps, I was way off.

Kloster Banz: Church
Kloster Banz itself is a monastery near a city called Bad Staffelstein. This is really quick peek inside the monastery itself. It was deadly quiet in there, and very cold.
Kloster Banz: Elk
We took a train from Coburg to Bad Staffelstein and then walked through three small towns that smelled like manure where I met my elk friend. I call him Annette.

Coburg: The Birds
Crazy Birds in a Coburg bird sanctuary thing. Very small, but they were loud and scary sometimes.

Fastnet in Freiburg
There is Carneval and Mardi Gras and Pancake Tuesday in other parts of the world. Here in Alemania is Fastnacht / Fastnet. The wooden masks are worn scare away the winter. Some kids were actually screaming because the masks were so scary. I was just creeped out.

München: Marienplatz
This was the only "thing" I really saw in Munich just because I didn't do the touristy thing, rather just walk around the city and got the feel of it. I still really liked this building. I also really liked the Hugendubel. Half of the fun is just saying it! Hugendubel!
München: Starbucks Shoutout
Everywhere was expensive and surprisingly Starbucks was the best place to go. I know: awkward.
Konstanz: Camel not Llama
Ok here's the deal. I saw a few llamas in Konstanz, and when filming this video I just saw "large unhuman-like creature" and therefore thought it was also indeed a llama. On review of the video it is a camel. This is why I'd be a horrible vet.
Konstanz: The Dock
A trip to the German/Swiss border city of Konstanz yields Warren finally seeing a body of water other than a river since 2004. Scary, eh?

Freiburg Hauptbahnhof
This is an older video I took early January. I live close to the Hauptbahnhof (Central station) and this is taken from the escalator from the trains to the street cars. I always thought the way up was pretty awesome. But now I just take it for granted.
Straßburg: Atop the Cathedrale
We walked all the way up the Cathedral. It was pretty cool, being 66 metres high and what not. I recommend it. To every church you go to.
Straßburg: Cathedrale Bells
A clip of the front of Straßburg's Cathedrale. This Cathedrale is the sister church of Notre Dame in Paris.
Straßburg: EU Food
We went on a field trip to Strassbourg, France. It's where the Parliament building is for the European Union, so it was pretty cool. We ate at the cafeteria at the EU, and this is our story.

Happy New Year from Luxembourg!
Remember to have this song stuck in your head!

Luxembourg: Nicolas Sarkozy
I don't know why it was such a big deal, but I kept on taking pictures of Sarkozy on Luxembourgish television. It was probably because it was his last day as the European Union's Overlord. I hope he had fun.
